Nightfall is an abstraction that captures the essence of the night sky in a dark, moody palette. Through a process of layering, I built rich textures that evoke depth and intrigue. The interplay of deep blues and greens is punctuated by a glowing foreground that suggests distant stars and or a glowing light that is not seen. By scraping into and removing layers of paint, I revealed previous layers, adding vibrancy and movement. This piece invites viewers to lose themselves in its atmospheric quality, reflecting the quiet beauty and mystery of a night filled with possibility.
